Washington, July 30, 2010 (Just Flashed): 56-year-old Brian David Mitchell happens to be the male accused of perpetrating the abduction of a female named Elizabeth Smart in 2002. The attorneys for his defense have now decided to request a judge to relocate his trial in November out of Utah to another state. His legal representatives have asserted that Brian can’t be the recipient of a reasonable trial in Salt Lake City as a consequence of the unhealthy and widespread media hype that surrounds this case there.

The prosecutors will certainly express their opposition to this plea of the defense. The prosecutors have insisted that judicial measures can be embraced to opt for a disinterested panel of judges.

The U.S. District Judge in the Salt Lake City happens to be Dale Kimball. Kimball will organize the hearing on Thursday afternoon.

Brian has to deal with federal indictments of abduction and criminal haulage of a minor across state lines. Elizabeth Smart was 14 years old in 2002 when she was hijacked from her residence by Brian. She was detected and salvaged in March 2003.
