Health concerns mount after George Michael’s careless slip
February 11th, 2010 - 4:03 pm ICT by ANILondon, Feb 11 (ANI): Fresh concern is mounting over George Michael’s drug abuse after police were called to his home in the middle of the night because he had wandered off, leaving the door open.
He was soon found by officers in a building around 200 yards away, though there’s confusion as to whether he was visiting his neighbours or at his studio.
A private security guard made the emergency call, informing police that the door to Michael’s Highgate, North London home was open.
Officers discovered the 46-year-old safe and well after a brief search of the area.
“You’d be utterly mad to leave your door open in the middle of the night. This is London,” the Mirror quoted a neighbour as saying.
Last year, George was arrested in toilets on Hampstead Heath with crack cocaine and boasted in December he was smoking only “seven or eight” spliffs a day, down from 25. (ANI)
