Oct 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) HBO announced today that after eight years on the air, the television show ‘Big Love’ will be ending after it’s fifth season, which premieres in January of 2011.

With the news of the show’s end, fans everywhere are scrambling to get clues as to what will happen to Bill, Barb, Nicki, and Margene during the last shows. The show’s runners, Mark V Olsen and Will Scheffer stated, “When we created Big Love in 2002, we had a strong conception of the journey the Henrickson family would make over the course of the series, of the story we had to tell…While we were in the writers’ room this year shaping our fifth season, we discovered that we were approaching the culmination of that story.”

Actress Chloe Sevigny, who plays the part of Nicki, added, “I think that finally you see the Henricksons having to deal with some consequences, for their actions and for their lifestyle. And they are finally getting a little bit of comeuppance.”

Scheffer and Olsen reserve any further comments until the January premiere, but did say, “I think you’ll agree this is definitively our best season to date, though,” according to ‘E!’.
