Los Angeles, July 10 (DPA) In her first interview since having a baby last month at age 17, Jamie Lynn Spears, the little sister of pop wreck Britney Spear, described the experience as “the best feeling in the world”. Spears made the comments for a cover article in the OK magazine.

A star in her own right on the kids TV series Zoey 101, Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy sparked a scandal for the example it sent to her many young fans. She is engaged to marry the father of the baby, 19-year-old Casey Aldridge, but no date has been announced.

“The first time I saw her, it was surreal. You can’t even imagine that moment. She just looked at me, and she really didn’t cry at first,” Spears told the publication. “I was scared, and then she started screaming. It is the best feeling in the world.

“The first time she really opened her eyes and I could see her looking at me and staring at me, that was the most amazing moment, ever. She looked at me, and she knew I was her mama. That was my favourite moment in the whole world.”

Spears also insisted that she was taking good care of the baby, nammed Maddie Briann.

“I love taking care of her. It is so much fun,” she said. “I just want to hug her and kiss her, and I’m happy all the time.”
