Hathaway signs ‘Les Miserables’

London, Oct 20 (IANS) Actress Anne Hathaway has officially signed up to play Fantine in the big screen adaptation of “Les Miserables”.
The 28-year-old has officially signed up to play the role opposite actor Hugh Jackman in the movie which will be directed by Tom Hooper, reports contactmusic.com.
The forthcoming film, which is an adaptation of 1862 French novel by author Victor Hugo, will start shooting later this year.
