Hathaway, Hudson team up for Bride WarsDecember 7th, 2007 - 12:58 pm ICT by admin
Washington, Dec 7 (ANI): Anne Hathaway has signed on to star with Kate Hudson in the comedy Bride Wars.
Gary Winick is directing the New Regency pic from a script penned by June Diane Raphael and Casey Wilson.
Raphael and Wilson managed to complete the shooting script before the writers strike that has seen Oliver Stones Pinkville and Johnny Depps Shantaram come to a grinding halt.
Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith also wrote on the project.
Bride Wars will see Hathaway and Hudson playing best friends who are pitted against each other when their wedding dates clash, reports Variety.
They compete for venues, services and guests, once it’s clear that neither will step aside.
On board as producers are Hudson, Julie Yorn and Alan Riche. Twentieth Century Fox will distribute. (ANI)
