August 26, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): It is time now for the ‘Baywatch’ star David Hasselhoff to get rid of his life guard’s trunks. He is all set to be seen in ABC’s ‘Dancing With The Stars’ in fall this year.

While ABC refused to divulge any details or even name the stars taking part in their upcoming show, Hasselhoff did not mention it either. He had recently been to Germany for a photo call for his autobiography. But he chose not to discuss the issue.

The Us Weekly reported the story about Hasselhoff being selected for ‘Dancing with the Stars’ stating unconfirmed sources. A few other stars who are also rumored to be cast in the dancing show includes Mike Sorrentino, reality star Audrina Patridge as well as actress Kirstie Alley.

The magazine also reported that Brandy, the singer is being considered by the makers of the show as well. Hasselhoff and Brandy did have a strained relationship while judging ‘America’s got Talent’.

Hasselhoff had already showed off a few hip movements while displaying a fondness for sequins at the ‘Comedy Central David Hasselhoff Roast’ which had been telecast this month. He was seen opening the show with a song and dance number wearing a black tuxedo.

He then went on to take an enormous amount of abuse from the C list of celebrities which may prove to be invaluable especially when he will have to listen to the comments of the judges on ‘Dancing With The Star’

The new season of the show will premiere on the 20th of September.
