Hasselhoff spends Thanksgiving in hospital
November 30th, 2009 - 12:45 pm ICT by IANSNew York, Nov 30 (IANS) David Hasselhoff and his ex-wife Pamela Bach are having a troubled start to the holiday season - while the former landed in the hospital, the latter was in jail over the Thanksgiving weekend.
The former “Baywatch” star was hospitalized for two days, people.com reports. But his attorney Mel Goldsman refused to disclose the nature of his illness. “David is home now and he’s fine,” he said.
Erik Scott, spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department, said that paramedics arrived at the Encino, California home of Hasselhoff at 11.51 a.m. Friday to administer medical aid and transported a patient by ambulance to a Los Angeles Cedars Sinai Medical Center.
Hasselhoff’s ex-wife Bach was arrested on Driving Under Infuence (DUI) charges by the California Highway Patrol on Saturday night while driving down the 101 Freeway near Laurel Canyon Blvd.
According to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman, she was taken into custody at the Van Nuys jail and later released on her own recognizance.
“There was no bail. She is fine. She was picked up and driven home by a friend. She will deal with this,” Bach’s publicist told people.com.
