Harshad Chopra aka Prem of Kis Desh Main Hai Mera Dil is very fussy when it comes to his act in the show. The actor is very particular about his role and the given script, and doesn’t go beyond his scripted role. Elaborating on one of the on-set incidents, our source informs, “It was sangeet sequence of Kokilaben’s daughter and there was a scene, which required Harshad Chopra to get involved in the function and dance with the family. But this was not taken well by the actor, as the script did not say so.”
“Alongside Harshad felt that it does not suit his present character in the serial. After the leap, his role has become much serious and thus, becoming happy or dancing doesn’t go well with it for the time being,” adds the source.
But when it was revealed to him after coming on the sets that he has to do things according to what director says, the actor just lost his temper. “I will not shoot if this is the sequence, and will go only with the script,” stated Harshad.
“After a long argument with the director and people from production it was concluded that it would be wise to go with the script. Finally Prem did not dance and the shooting was taken ahead,” concludes the source. Hum toh aaise hai bhaiya… This incident really showed how particular is Harshad about his serial character and script. Isn’t it?
