Harry Potter Theme Park At Orlando Witnessing Record Crowd

POTTER CROWDSFlorida, July 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Harry Potter Park at Universal Orlando has turned out to be a heavy crowd puller so much so that the park authorities are asking the guests to wait till the other half of the day to visit the park. The much awaited park was thrown open to the public last month and the footfall has exceeded the expected limit. The USP of the park named Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is attracting the maximum number of visitors according to the park authorities. To keep the huge crowd under check Universal has resorted to issuing paper tickets. Drink carts as well as outdoor merchandise have been arranged to ease shop congestion inside the park. Till 3 pm the rush of the visitors remains at the peak.

Universal is of course to happy with the rush for the wizarding world. The Harry Potter themed area is being sought after by the visitors and the queue is becoming excessively long every morning. The park staffs are having a really hectic time to handle the queue at the times. The tavern still sells wine and beer but the majority of the visitors are carving for butterbeer a drink made popular in the Harry Potter books and films. Temporarily the sale of liquor has been stopped in the tavern.

Universal however is cautious in its approach to rein in the crowds and trying to ensure that the visitors remain interested to make a re visit to the theme park. Some new attractions will come up shortly to pull in more crowds in the long run as it has been reported.
