harry-potter2Jan 28, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Tech industry experts who said that 3D will be the in thing for the coming years were right. After the worldwide success of Avatar, the 3D magnum Opus of maverick filmmaker Jams Cameron, another popular and successful film franchise is all set to join the 3D bandwagon. It is time for the Harry Potter fans to get excited because the next films in the series will be made and released in 3D. Warner Brothers, the studio that makes and produces Harry Potter films has been pretty impressed by Avatar and it has plans to make the upcoming films in 3D. According to the industry buzz, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows is already complete and it is not clear if the studio will convert the film into 3D or remake it. Either way it would be a costly proposition.

Though Warner Bros. has neither denied nor conformed the news, sources say that it will also convert Clash Of The Titans, a movie starring Sam Worthington into 3D. The networks like ESPN and Discovery are also about to launch 3D channels this year and the Hollywood bigwigs also want to cash in on the 3D phenomenon. So far, the film viewers need to wear 3D glasses to watch the 3D movies in their glory. However, the good thing is that the conversion costs are coming down.

The love of Hollywood for 3D movies seems to be growing with more studios and producers planning to go 3D. With time, the viewers can expect to see popular movie franchises like James Bond being added in the 3D list.
