harry-potter2 Los Angeles, Jan 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Warner Bros is all set to release the next two Harry Potter movies in their 3D version. This move might be inspired by the over-whelming success of Avatar, which not only set the box-office on fire but also became the biggest box-office grosser till now. Earlier the biggest grosser was Titanic, but Avatar overtook it in less than a month’s time.

The Warner Bros studio executives have been trying their best to expand their horizons in 3D as well. Their upcoming movie ‘Clash of the Titans’ was converted into 3D by an outside vendor, and they are more than satisfied with the results. So now they are planning to release not only ‘Clash of the Titans’ but the two-part ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ in 3D as well.

“I would not think it would be an issue to establish ourselves in the 3-D marketplace with ‘Titans,’” a studio insider said. “By sliding it back a week, we should at least have enough screens in the major markets.” Warner executives refused to comment on all these speculations on Tuesday. But all the same, an official statement on ‘Clash of the Titans’, which is a co-production with Legendary Pictures, is expected in a week’s time.
