The first day of its release saw a large of people heading towards the movie theaters through out the day, especially taking a toll in the late night shows. According to sources, Warner Brothers, who is the worldwide distributor of ” Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1″ has claimed that the movie opened to $125.1 million at the domestic box office, while doing a business $205 million from almost all the prospective foreign markets. ” Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1″ shot its spell straight into the box office on late Thursday night, when some 3,700 theaters screened the magical drama as midnight was seen to descend upon. Few of the theaters were also seen to screen shows as late as 3:15 in the night.
The debut of ” Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1″ is leading along with another biggest hit of the year, “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” in the box office. According to sources, after Friday morning, the movie in the United States and Canada saw the buying of tickets some what equivalent to that of the 2005 movie “Harry potter and the Goblet Of Fire”.
