June 24, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Wedding day is always special and if it is a celebrity wedding, the fans would be naturally curious to know about the details of the day including the wedding outfit.

Recently, Hollywood actor Harrison Ford got married for the third time to his longtime girlfriend television actress Calista Flockhart. Ford surprised everyone by wearing a more offbeat designer dud: Wrangler jeans.

The couple tied the knot at Santa Fe, New Mexico. The bride wore a casual white sundress for the occasion on the grounds of Gov. Bill Richardson’s hilltop mansion.

Flockhart’s adopted son Liam was the ring bearer as the couple exchanged vows. Gov. Richardson performed the simple ceremony in presence of his wife Barbara, the official counsel of the governor and the chief justice of New Mexico, announced the 67 year old Ford and the 45 year old Flockhart, husband and wife.

The wedding was very simple with not much fanfare. Bernie Pollack, a friend of Ford and his longtime costume designer, who attended the wedding said, “Both of them are honest towards each other and life. Marriage will just take it forward.”

Ford was shooting for his latest flick Cowboys & Aliens in New Mexico. He took some days off for his wedding and then went back to the set after a few days.

The couple had been dating since the last eight years. This is Ford’s third wedding. He has children and grandchildren from his earlier marriages. So, it was quite natural for the actor to opt for such a simple wedding!
