harrison-ford-indiana-jones-piers-morganJan 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Ace Hollywood actor Harrison Ford is hogging the headlines these days. The ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’ actor recently told the media that he has no intention to be a part of the new talk show of Piers Morgan that will be aired on CNN. The actor was talking to reporters for a press conference in the UK for “Morning Glory,” his upcoming film when he made the remark. He made it clear that he is not going to appear in the “Piers Morgan Tonight” show since he is not very impressed with the host’s interviewing skills. The actor who is 68 now, said “I’m not interested in the truth, I’m interested in selling product.”

It is not difficult to guess why the veteran actor is not willing to be on the CNN talk show. Harrison Ford is known to be a very private person, his long alliance with the world of showbiz notwithstanding. The actor is now upbeat about his new film “Morning Glory.” It is going to be released on January 28, 2011. In this flick, the actor essays the role of a former network news anchor in U.S. Those who know about his role in the movie, have said it is not much different from what he is in real life. The actor whose private life has come in the media glare in recent past, prefers to spend time with his family when he is not working.

While actor Harrison Ford has expressed his lack of interest in appearing in Piers Morgan’s upcoming talk show on CNN, it does not mean he lacks a comic bone. He made it a point to mention he likes comedians like Steve Martin and Robin Williams.
