June 24, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Quite contrary to his co-stars in Hollywood who spend millions for the perfect outfit for their wedding day, Harrison Ford decided to take things rather simply and inexpensively when he tied the knot with his longtime partner Calista Flockhart earlier this month. According to reports, “The Indiana Jones” star decided to walk down the aisle in wrangler jeans to wed his longtime sweetheart.

Harrison Ford was not the only one who had dressed down for the wedding ceremony which was held on June 15, as the love of his life, actress Calista Flockhart chose to adorn a rather casual white sundress for the ceremony which took place on the grounds of Governor Bill Richardson’s mansion.

Meanwhile, friends as well as family members of the celebrity couple who attended the ceremony have revealed that the entire ceremony was a low-key affair without much fanfare which was more of a statement about the commitment between the two of them.

Designer Bernie Pollack, who is known to be a close friend of the 67 year old actor, told the media that both the couple are extremely honest about their approach towards life and towards each other and the marriage would only accentuate what they already share.

“The Fugitive’ star, who is lately busy filming his latest flick “Cowboys and Aliens” in New Mexico is said to have taken a day off for his wedding to the much acclaimed actress, after dating each other for about eight years.

However, Harrison Ford reportedly did not waste any time and was back to work the very next day.
