The action-packed drama thriller “Harper’s Island” season 1, is finally headed towards its season finale as fans are getting more and more tensed in eager anticipation. The CBS drama, that had been the summer obsession of quite a number of viewers pulled down the shutter on Saturday, July 11, airing the 13th episode that brought to light the truth behind the gory massacre of the people on the island. Till now, each of the 12 episodes have been very riveting. The last episode has proved to be the icing on the cake and not a damp squid.

The last episode is very aptly titled “Sigh” and will probably put an end to all the suspense and the brain storming over the supposed killer. The two hours was as exciting as the entire journey has been promised to be till now.

Saturday night’s episode finally revealed Henry Dunn to be the killer in this ‘bloody’ and ‘edge of suspense’ filled saga that has been loosely based on the concept of Agatha Christie’s popular mystery novel “Ten Little Indians”. He was shown to murder Katherine Wellington, Trish Wellington, Christopher “Sully” Sullivan and John Wakefield (who was the other killer) in the last episode. The only people to make it alive out of the island are Abby and Jimmy, who get rescued by the coast guard, and are shown to leave the island together. We finally depart from the “Harper’s Island” scene with the screen shot that comprised of short clips of Trish, Sully, Danny, Booth, Malcom, Chloe, Cal, Abby and Henry, all congratulating Henry and Trish on their wedding, by filming it via a handy-cam.
