Harold And Kumar Go To White Castle: Burger And Laughter

The movie Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle is a hilarious depiction of the misadventures that Harold and Kumar undergo as they head towards the restaurant after being high on marijuana. Released in 2004 it showcased the comic talents of actors John Cho and Kal Penn who played the characters of Harold Lee and Kumar Patel respectively. The duo came back in 2008, in Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay, which was a sequel to this one. Moreover announcements have been made for a third part also. Kal Penn is an actor of Indian origin whereas John Cho has his roots in Korea. That is perhaps where the comedy emanates from; these two different cultural backgrounds whereas the story develops in contemporary US.
The White Castle restaurant chain became even more famous after the release of the movie. After watching Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle if you are tempted to try an hamburger or kind of fast food then you can head towards the White Castle Restaurant which has around 380 restaurants all over. In 1921 when the restaurant had started its operations it used to provide burgers at a cost of 5 cents to customers. Showcasing White castle restaurant in the movie Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle widened its dimension giving it a cult status. The White Castle chain is to come up with a 2600 square foot restaurant in MacArthur Road beside The Home Depot Store to further cash on this publicity.
It seems that the movie has been lucky for everyone, from the actors to the restaurant chain, as they have gone onto do bigger things.
