Michael Jackson Aug 4 (IBNS) The custody agreement reached by Jackson musical family matriarch Katherine Jackson and Debbie Rowe with regard to the custody of Michael Jackson’s children has been signed off by Los Angeles judge Mitchell Beckloff.

In the ruling Monday, the judge officially named Katherine as the permanent guardian of the kids - Prince Michael Jackson Jr., Prince Michael Jackson II, and Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, with visitation rights for Debbie, who mothers Michael Jackson Jr. and Paris.

Apart from okaying Katherine’s guardianship petition, judge Mitchell also granted unspecified monthly allowance to her to cover the children’s costs.

“I am happy to be with my kids…they are my life,” a close aide of Katherine quoted her saying after the hearing.

“Katherine desperately wanted the custody of her kids after MJ passed away. She was praying all day,” the source told media Tuesday.

The amount of the payments will be collected from Michael’s estate. As for Debbie, she will receive no money beyond an existing spousal agreement, reportedly worth about $8.5 million.

A follow-up hearing on the custody arrangements has been set for October 2 to “review the circumstances of the children” and make sure the custody deal is going according to plan.

Last Thursday, Katherine and Debbie Rowe, the biological mother of Prince, 12, and Paris, 11, reached a custody agreement, their lawyers announced then. Rowe will be granted supervised visitation rights. (Michael is also father to Blanket, 7, from a separate surrogate mother.)

The Associated Press reports Prince and Paris signed declarations that they wanted to continue living with Katherine, who has had temporary custody of all the kids since their father’s June 25th death from cardiac arrest.
