Karan Johar - a great producer, director, TV personality was born on 25th May 1972 to the well known producer director Yash Johar.

Karan started his filmi career by assisting director Aditya chopra in DDLJ (Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge), also assisted Adi in screenplay. He made his directorial debut in 1998 with KKHH (Kuch Kuch Hota hai) and since that day he never looked back.He wrote, directed, produced some of the greatest bollywood hits like Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kabhi Alvida Na Kahena, Kal Ho Na Ho. His latest movie MY NAME IS KHAN starring his favourite pair Shahrukh and Kajol shedule to release in 2009.

Karan also hosted a chat show “Coffee With Karan” in star world and also anchored film awards shows. He is a fashion designer and adviser to his good friend Sharukh Khan and even acted in a small role as Shahrukh’s friend in DDLJ……
