Aug 10 (IBNS) The rumour is rife that Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus has dumped her 20-year-old underwear model Justin Gaston and has started dating Nick Jonas.

E! News reported that the 16-year-old starlet has ended her nine-month romance with Gaston.

Miley, the Hannah Montana star, broke the relationship last week as she prepared to leave Los Angeles for two months to shoot her Nicholas Sparks movie, The Last Song, in Savannah, Ga.

Gaston, a Louisiana native, has told his friends that Miley’s renewed friendship with Nick Jonas this spring was his Achilles’ heel. Miley was been hanging out with Nick Jonas again a lot and to some extent Justin was OK with it but only for a while.

“She obviously has been hanging out with Nick again a lot, and Justin was cool with it at first, as long as it was just a cool, friendly thing,” says an insider. “She didn’t cheat, but I guess Nick was trying to get her back the whole time.”

The website reported that the couple says both of them are really heartbroken over the split.

Cyrus’ Twitter message about Nick read: “I’m in a dark theater ‘writing’ a song with nick j who is rockin a faded eggplant shirt! :)”

Miley responded on Twitter saying: “Why does goodbye hurt so much? Tears are words the heart can’t express”?
