Hanks, Goetzman to be honoured with ‘Norman Lear Achievement Award’
October 12th, 2010 - 5:48 pm ICT by ANILondon, Oct 12 (ANI): Tom Hanks and his business partner Gary Goetzman are all set to be honoured at the Producers Guild Awards in January (11).
America’s top film moguls unanimously agreed to honour the pair with the coveted Norman Lear Achievement Award in Television at the 22nd annual prize giving on January 22, reports the Daily Express.
Hanks and Goetzman are the founders of Playtone Productions - the company behind TV hits Big Love, Band of Brothers and The Pacific.
Past recipients of the Norman Lear prize include Jerry Bruckheimer, Aaron Spelling and David E. Kelley. (ANI)
