Manhattan, Nov 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Hand and foot model Christina Amber who fell in love with a porter is facing discrimination at the high-end society where she lives in. The upper-crust co-operative board of a luxury Upper East Side building is trying to evict one of its high-class residents Christina Ambers for marrying one of its lowly porters Angel Rotger, according to a $10 million lawsuit.

Her husband, the ex-porter Angel Rotger at this high end society, now walks through the doors he once held open at 340 E. 74th St., said that Christina Ambers - dubbed the “Heidi Klum of foot models” - is a “wonderful woman” who never treated him “like a peon. I didn’t feel like I fell in love with her feet,” Rotger said. “I fell in love with her heart.”

In the $10 million lawsuit, filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, the couple said that workers refuse to announce their guests or deliver packages to their first-floor apartment. “After working amongst them, them having to work under me is a big culture shock,” Rotger said.

“I hope that people can understand how awful it is to come home and to then be treated with hostility in a building where I have paid a lot of money to live. Nobody should have to live this way.” “The people in this building need to come into the 21st century,” Ambers said. “I fell in love with Angel because he is a sweet, caring man – how dare they look down on us!”
