Jan 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It became evident that Gabriel Aubry is in no mood to remain separated from daughter Nahla after the Canadian model filed for the joint custody of daughter Nahla. The 34 year old who had previously dated Hollywood star Halle Berry recently has filed his petition in the court so that he gets a legal declaration to have custody of Nahla along with her mother Hollywood star Halle Berry.

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry had dated each other for two years before finally calling their relationship quits in last year April. According to reports, the couple who never tied the knot decided to split after Gabriel Aubry felt that their relation was not working any more since both of them had remained away from each other for a long time. The “Catwoman” actress gave birth to their daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry in 2008 and after splitting from her ex-flame has continued to take the custody of their daughter all by herself. According to reports, Gabriel Aubry has already filed the legal documents on December 30, at the Los Angeles Court asking the judges to legally declare him as Nahla’s father.

However, in the recent petition he has demanded for Nahla’s joint custody. The documents have Gabriel Aubry citing that he wants both the physical and legal custody of the child. Reports claim that the documents also shows Gabriel Aubry citing that both he and Halle Berry have signed legal papers which claim the paternity of the two and half year old Nahla whose last name already has Gabriel’s surname. However, buzz in the tinsel town has it that the former couple has reportedly sorted out their differences, although choosing to remain separated.
