Los Angeles, Nov 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actress Halle Berry has completely denied media rumors that she is set to play talk show host, Oprah Winfrey in an upcoming movie. The Oscar –winning actress was on an episode of the The Ellen DeGeneres which will be aired on Monday.

On the show, Berry completely denied knowledge of such a role saying, “I’m not going to play Oprah. No, I was like (pretends to be on the phone), ‘Hey, Oprah, Am I playing you? Just tell me because nobody has told me this.’ I don’t know where these rumors come from”. She even went ahead to deny knowledge of such a movie and said she has been left wondering how those kinds of rumors get brew.

The actress admitted though that if there was such a movie, she will love to play the famous talk show host but she does not know of any such project. She said that, “I don’t know. Not that I wouldn’t want to play Oprah if there was a movie. I just don’t know how this stuff gets made up”.

Ellen DeGeneres comments after those words were more humbling. Ellen said that she was asking Berry more question about the rumor “Because” she “was going to play Oprah”
