Halle Berry breaks her foot in Spain
September 23rd, 2011 - 8:56 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattMadrid, Sept 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actress Hailey Berry has reportedly broken her foot on a set in Spain. The Oscar-winning actress was in the middle of shooting her new movie Cloud Atlas in Spain when the accident happened. Berry was seen in a wheelchair being pushed out of a hospital.
Warner Bros, owners of the movie, released a statement to the public. The statement said that, “Halle Berry suffered a foot injury today while walking in Mallorca on a day off from filming Cloud Atlas. Production has adjusted their schedule and will continue filming.”
Berry went to Spain’s Mallorca with her three-year-old child, Nahla and her new boyfriend Olivier Martinez.
The movie is being shot across several cities in Europe. Berry has already completed the shooting in Glasgow. The producers said they loved the reception that they got in the city of Glasgow though most of the scenes in the movie were shot at a location in Germany.
There are several stars in the movie as well. Oscar winner Tom Hanks along with Jim Sturgess, Ben Whishaw, Jim Broadbent and British star Hugh Grant are all in the movie.
Berry is said to be recovering from the injury.
