Aug 17 (IBNS) Jon Gosselin’s gal pal Hailey Glassman is defending her relationship with the reality star dad and calling him her “first love.”

“He is my first love and my mirror image…our intellectual vibes match like crazy… both of us like the same thing…what makes me cry, makes him sad too, what I like, he love…what do you call this if it’s not ‘love’,” Glassman said.

“I’m not some fame whore,” Glassman was quoted as saying by E! Online about her relationship with the Jon & Kate Plus 8 star.

“I want people to know the truth. Right now I’m speaking from my heart, myself. I’m not some celebrity, I’m not some famous person – I’m just a 22-year-old girl who got caught in the middle of all this.”

Glassman also dismissed speculations that her relationship with Jon played a part in ending his 10 year marriage to Kate Gosselin.

Glassman said that the couple were separated for “months” before she became an item with Jon. In fact, her budding relationship with the father of eight began while he was staying at her parents’ home, she says.

“He was living in my house, the person I joked around with. He was sad and bored, I was home and bored,” Glassman says.

Glassman is the daughter of Kate’s tummy-tuck surgeon. She openly showed off her love with Jon, 32, less than three weeks after Kate and Jon’s separation was announced, and calls Jon her “first love.”

Glassman said that all the parties involved are moving ahead and putting the past behind them.

“Jon and Kate have moved on with their lives,” she says. “It’s only the viewers who haven’t moved on.”
