Hailey Glassman is finally coming out of the shell and emerging in the eye of the public to clear her tarnished image; she’s decided she has taken enough of the media lashings.

The recent romantic escapades splashed all across the media concerning her and the much older Jon Gosselin of the “Jon & Kate Plus 8” fame had led a section of the media to brand Glassman as a potential home wrecker. In her media appearances, she plans to set all preconceived notions regarding her at rest.

In a recent interview to a TV network that aired this Monday, the 23 year old Glassman has said, “[He's my] first love. I’m not some fame whore.” She even stated, “I’m not some celebrity, I’m not some famous person - I’m just a 22 year old girl who got caught in the middle of all this. Take my 15 minutes, you can have it back.”

In the exclusive interview to E! News, Glassman said, “Before all this, I was happy-go-lucky,” and now, she has suddenly been thrown in front of an awful lot of media scrutiny that is leaving her choked.

In the span of the interview though, she could not keep the accusations out of her voice regarding the treatment that the media has dealt out to her related to the Jon and Kate break up fiasco. She vented her ire saying, “I was never a follower. I was never a gossiper. I did my own thing. To be honest, this whole thing, I have my happiness through this all. I don’t want to say the public and media stripped me of my self-esteem. But they really have. I’ve been the sacrificial lamb in this situation.”
