Gyllenhaal says being single has been ‘okay’ since Witherspoon split
April 14th, 2010 - 5:34 pm ICT by ANILondon, April 14 (ANI): Jake Gyllenhaal has said that being single has been ‘okay’ since his split from actress Reese Witherspoon.
Gyllenhaal’s two-year relationship with Reese Witherspoon ended last fall.
“It’s okay. It goes in either direction. I think it’s important for every man to find the right woman and every woman to find the right man,” the New York Daily News quoted the actor as saying in GQ’s May issue.
“Who am I to say what the most important thing in life is? The best answer I could give to any of those things is that I really don’t know. Particularly right now in my life,” he added.
Gyllenhaal also said that he is open to being less cautious in his next relationship.
“I’m trying not to keep things so neat. I think I’m realizing my strengths and my faults. I think I’m trying to see what is me … and what is not me,” he said. (ANI)
