Gwyneth Paltrow playing matchmaker to Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Swift
December 19th, 2010 - 1:06 pm ICT by ANILondon, Dec 19 (ANI): Gwyneth Paltrow has finally admitted playing matchmaker to Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift.
“I’ve just known Jake for a long time and he’s a great guy. And Chris (Martin - her husband) has a friendship with Taylor,” the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.
The 38-year-old revealed her matchmaking after being told about a report that Jake and Taylor had met at a dinner party at the London home Gwyneth shares with husband, Chris.
When put on the spot, Gwyneth initially remained coy. But later admitted it was true.
“Where is this coming from?” she told USA Today.
“Well, I’m scared to say. It’s so weird. I wonder how people find out these things. It was a while ago, so I don’t know why it would come out today,” she said
The besotted couple have been dating since October this year, even spending the Thanksgiving holiday together.
Gwyneth and Jake have been close friends for years, after becoming close on the set of American drama, ‘Proof’ in 2005. (ANI)
