London, Dec 18 (IANS) “Iron Man” actress Gwyneth Paltrow’s mother Blythe Danner has praised the actress’ “remarkable and perfect” children and said she can’t wait to spend Christmas with her daughter and family.Danner thinks six-year-old Apple and four-year-old Moses, the actress’ kids with husband Chris Martin always display impeccable behaviour and are well adjusted even though they have superstar parents, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“They’re so perfect - truly, they are. Quite remarkable! I’ve just never met children like this, that are so secure and have such great self-control and self-image. They’re just great kids,” said Danner.

The “Little Fockers” actress is looking forward to spending Christmas with Paltrow, Coldplay musician Martin and her grandchildren and said she can’t wait to see what culinary delights her daughter will cook on the big day.

“We’ll all be together with lots of music, singing, playing games and eating food. My daughter is a great cook. She cooked five ducks for my birthday two years ago, so who knows what delicious food she’ll have in store for Christmas,” she said.

“She is a fantastic hostess! She is a great, great cook. I really don’t know how she does it all,” she added.

Danner is also looking forward to one of her favourite festive traditions - decorating her Christmas tree with the shoes worn by Paltrow and her children when they were babies.

“I have baby shoes from myself, my children and grandchildren, and we put them on the Christmas tree. We try to have a little record of our lives.”
