Los Angeles, Mar 7 (THAINDIAN NEWS) NY Post has reported that Gwyneth Paltrow is in advance talks with Atlantic Records for her maiden music album. The report claims that the two parties are close to agreeing on a deal that would bring out the album of the actress.

The 38-year-old starred in the movie ‘Country Strong.’ She is married to a singer and coming out with an album wouldn’t shock many people. She recently showed her singing skills when she appeared on ‘Glee’ to perform ‘Forget You’. She also performed ‘Coming Home’ at the Grammy’s.

The report quoted a source as saying that, “Gwyneth’s agents have been talking to a number of labels about landing her a substantial record deal… Many labels would be reluctant to give a deal to a star whose first priority is film, but in recent weeks there have been discussions with Atlantic.”

Gwyneth herself gave an indication during the Oscars when she announced on the red carpet that she is in talks to find a label for her album. She told reporters then that they would know about a deal soon.

Gwyneth is married to Chris Martin, who is the lead singer of Coldplay.
