Gwyneth Paltrow causes racial controversy after tweeting the N-word

Los Angeles, June 5 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Gwyneth Paltrow is now in the middle of a racial controversy. The American actress was at the Jay-Z and Kanye West gig in Paris last Friday night Paris when she shared a photo from the ‘Watch the Throne’ tour.

The image was accompanied by the caption ‘’N***as in Paris for real’, written by Paltrow. Even though the caption is actually the title of a Jay-Z and Kanye track, her Tweet generated an unprecedented online discussion on whether the tweet was offensive or not. Paltrow later defended herself, stating that she was tweeted the title of a song.

She attended the gig alongside two of her friends and former Destiny Child members, Beyonce Knowles, Jay Z’s wife, and former ‘X Factor’ judge Kelly Rowland.

Paltrow’s husband Chris Martin, leader of the band Coldplay, could not be present in the gig, as his group was headlined in London’s Emirates Stadium. Kim Kardashian, who has been allegedly romantically linked to Kanye West, was also unable to attend the gig.

Gwyneth Kate Paltrow made her acting debut during the early 1990’s. She rose to fame after starring in films like Seven (1995) and Emma (1996), Shakespeare in Love (1998), for which she received several awards.
