Guys are more interested in Gary Lineker than me, says Danielle Lineker
June 6th, 2010 - 2:40 pm ICT by ANILondon, June 6 (ANI): Sexy lingerie model Danielle Lineker has been left complaining by her former footie hubby Gary Lineker’s popularity - she says guys don’t chat with her anymore when she is accompanied by her sportscaster spouse.
“You know when you used to go out and guys would chat you up?” the Mirror quoted the Welsh beauty, as saying.
Danielle, 30, went on: “Well that never happens any more. They make a beeline for Gary! I have to laugh.
“I’m usually the person taking the pictures.”
Of course, Danielle understands people’s affection and admiration for the former England soccer star Gary, 49.
She said: “There’s such a warm feeling towards him - sometimes we’re driving along and people will beep their horns and shout, ‘Oi Gary! You’re a legend!’ It’s funny and lovely to hear that about your man.
“It happens everywhere - people just run up to him - in restaurants all the time. Even when we went to Disneyland with the kids Gary was like Mickey Mouse - people were queuing up for his autograph.”
But being surrounded by fans all the time is not ideal.
Danielle said: “Sometimes I just want him to myself.
“For a dream weekend we’d hide out at home.” (ANI)
