August 27, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Kannada film director Guruprasad is finally launching his movie titled “Directors Special’ today at the Puttanna Kanagal Floor of Madhu Arts Studio between 5.45 and 6.30 pm.

The director has earlier given two runaway hit films “Eddelu Manjunatha’ and “Mata’. The director kept the project on hold for a long time relying on the talent of Komalkumar, the renowned Kannada film comedian. However, the actor backed out from the project stating that the script of the movie was in bad taste and it was against the Kannada film industry.

Guruprasad kept quiet for almost four months and is now launching the movie with new cast and crew in the team. The film will be produced by M Govindu under the banner Ajay Pictures. The director has reportedly made changes in the script, which was offensive to the Kannada film industry. The dialogues, script and screenplay of the movie have been penned by the director himself.

P.L. Ravi has been chosen to look after the cinematography and music of the film will be composed by Anoop Seelin. Lyrics of the five songs in the movie will be penned by Guruprasad, Jayanth Kaikini, V Manohar, Yograj Bhat and MN Vyasa Rao. Choreography will be done by Chandra Mayur, Jaggu, Imran Sardaria, Malur Srinivas and Aravind.

The launch event of the movie will be attended by guests like Raghavendra Rajkumar, Shivanna, Puneeth and Parvathamma Rajkumar. Guruprasad has planned to shot the movie in 50 days.
