Guns n Roses Rocks New York in Surprise Show

New York, Feb 19 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The last time that Guns and Roses gave a world tour was in 2006, 2007, and it consisted of 60 shows, in 26 countries, and was the first time they had given the world a full tour since 1993. Aside from lead vocalist Axl Rose, the current nad members are guitarists DJ Ashba, Ron Thal and Richard Fortus, bassist Tommy Stinson, keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman and drummer Frank Ferrer.
New Yorkers got a unexpected yet awesome Valentine’s gift from the 80’s Rock legends, “Guns and Roses”. It was the second impromptu performance by the band in a week, after the lead singer, Axl Rose, had given a surprise performance in the form of an acoustic show on February 11. His small performance was given at the store of John Varvatos, fashion designer, in Manhattan. Hardcore Guns and Roses fans were thrilled at the unexpected treat.
Then again on Valentine’s Day, the legendary rock band gave an unannounced performance at the Rose Bar in Manhattan. There were a few stars in the audience for this performance, including Fabrizio Moretti of “The Stokes”. Axl and the gang played a set of 17 songs, which included many long time fan favorites such as “Sweet Child of Mine, Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City, Patience, and many others”.They also tried a few songs from their newest album entitles “Chinese Democracy” which did not make it very well in the music world
