guns-n-roses New York, Feb 19 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Guns N’ Roses gave an exciting surprise to their numerous fans, when they gave a second surprise show in New York on Valentine’s Day. The band’s front man Axl Rose played a small acoustic gig on Thursday i.e. on the 11th of February 2010 at fashion designer John Varvatos’ Manhattan store, as part of the New York Fashion Week. This was the bands first surprise show, which was welcomed heartily by their fans. And then in less than a week, they had another surprise show, which was completely unexpected to say the least.

On Valentine’s Day, Guns N’ Roses played to a star-studded audience at Manhattan’s Rose Bar. The audience also included the Strokes singer Fabrizio Moretti. On this surprise show the band included tracks from the Guns N’ Roses comeback album Chinese Democracy and classic records like Sweet Child O’ Mine.

Reportedly the band played a 17-song performance that included songs from almost every Guns N’ Roses album, including super duper hits like “Paradise City,” “Sweet Child o’ Mine,” “Welcome to the Jungle” and “Patience.” The band also played numerous selections from its most recent album, “Chinese Democracy”, which unfortunately was a commercial disaster.
