Pattinson, 24, is currently filming the first part of the final installment of the ‘Twilight’ Saga, “Breaking Dawn”, which is scheduled for a 2011 release. Of late, this tabloid sweetheart has been spotted romancing his ‘Twilight’ co-star cum ladylove, Kristen Stewart, both on and off the sets.
This sexy vampire is doing more than just sucking blood; he is associated with the GO Campaign, a charitable trust that helps raise money for orphans and vulnerable children all over the world.
An auction had been set up and the highest bidder gets to travel to Vancouver and gets the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit Pattinson on the sets of his latest vampire movie. The auction, which was held at CharityBuzz.com, has witnessed a record amount of $80,000 from the highest bidder.
The other prizes included meeting Paul McCartney and a backstage visit with U2.
