GSI Commerce CEO Michael Rubin Featured In “Undercover Boss”

Mar 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The latest episode of the CBS reality series “Undercover Boss” turned out to be a highly entertaining experience for its regular viewers as it showcased another top executive of a major company go undercover in his own firm in order to gain first hand experience about the working conditions of his employees. This time it was Michael G. Rubin, the President and CEO of the e-commerce giant GSI Commerce assuming the role of one of his workers and experience the kind of work life that his employees enjoy every single day.
During his journey as a holiday season worker, the GSI Commerce founder gets to know intrinsic details about the way in which his company functions at the grass root level and also gets to know his employees in a much better manner, who toil really hard everyday to make the company successful. One of the highlights of the show turned out to be Michael G. Rubin losing it really bad on a call center worker who supposedly talks rudely to a customer while working in the company’s office in Florida. At the same time, the other activities that the top executive has to indulge in involves loading trucks, dividing fulfillment trucks as well as answering calls from customers.
The entire experience of the GSI Commerce founder as a worker in his own company must have been an extremely enriching experience for him as he also gets the opportunity to meet some of his most dedicated workers who give their best shot to enable his company reach the pinnacle of success.
