gqNov 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) “Glee” stars Lea Michele, Dianna Agron and Cory Monteith’s GQ magazine photos raised many eyebrows when the actresses posed in provocative dresses for the viewers. In spite of the controversies, it seems that the photos are one of the hot searches among the Americans as GQ reportedly got 2.5 million page views in its first week and now it has increased to 33 million page views! The GQ officials have reportedly announced that they would post behind the scenes video from the photo shoot in the official website of the magazine.

Peter King Hunsinger, the publisher of GQ magazine told a reputed media source that the video is going to be a gift for the viewers. GQ photos of “Glee” stars came under fire when the Parents Television Council expressed their disgust and even said that the photos borders on “pedophilia”. “Glee Gone Wild!” photos were said “hyper-sexualized” by PTC as according to them, the musical comedy is mostly watched by young generations and the photos show “overt sexualization” of young actresses.

Jim Nelson, the Editor-in-Chief of magazine, however, strongly defended the photographs in one of his interviews to a reputed media source saying that the “Glee” stars are not “kids” anymore and they have the right to make their own decisions. “Glee” actress Dianna Agron later apologized for the racy photos on her blog where he maintained that it was not her intention to make people uncomfortable with the GQ photos. The GQ photos were subjected to many criticisms, however, it seems that the photos gave a good business to GQ magazine for which they have decided to post videos on their website.
