gq Glee cover November 2, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): The controversial GQ magazine had a full page spread of ‘Glee’ stars in skimpy costumes on their November Cover. The raunchy photo shoot raised a lot of red flags as soon as it was released. But GQ.com received a whopping 33million page views within the first week of the photos going up online. The racy photo shoot had some of the prominent ‘Glee’ cast members posing in skimpy attires. The ‘Glee’ hottie Lea Michele was photographed wearing underwear and an off shoulder t-shirt.

Lea’s co-star Cory Monteith was conservatively dressed compared to his female co-stars. Even Dianna Agron was seen sporting a skimpy skirt for the shoot. GQ magazine has revealed that they are excited about the phenomenal response to the photos. This is the first time that GQ has received so many page views within such a short time. The Website was launched a year back and it usually gets 2.5 million page views in a week.

The GQ publisher, Peter King Hunsinger said that these bunches of photos are the best gift for the website. The GQ management wants to make more money out of the photo shoot in the coming weeks. Latest reports suggest that GQ might even go a step higher and upload the ‘behind the scenes’ video of the photo shoot to spark the interest of the web users.

The actors involved in the show have received a lot of flak from the public after the photos were published; Diannna Agron even apologized on her blog for making her fans uncomfortable. We hope that the new video does not incite another controversy.
