Google Celebrates John Lennon’s 70th birthday with their first video doodle

yoko The Internet search giant Google has honored John Lennon on what would have been his 70th birthday with a logo dedicated to him.

On the front page of Google’s search engine site outside the United States, the search engine company altered its logo on Friday and added a YouTube video to a play button that is displayed on the page.

When the play button is clicked, an animated video plays and after that the Google would take you to a search result of John Lennon.

All those that have seen the video have hailed the logo.

The Lennon 70th birthday doodle and logo was delayed on Google America. It s not clear when the logo will be removed from the front page but is it expected to be turned-on in America tomorrow.

It may be recalled that John Lennon was killed in front of his wife Yoko Ono in 1980. He was 40 years old when he was killed. Recently, the two sons that he had with the two women he married reunited at an event.

John Lennon would have been 70 years on this Saturday.
