Gomez to perform for Unicef
January 10th, 2012 - 4:47 am ICT by IANSLondon, Jan 10 (IANS) Singer-actress Selena Gomez is all set to perform for UN Children’s Fund (Unicef) in a bid to raise funds for the organisation.
Gomez joined forces with UNICEF in 2008 and became an official representative of the charitable cause, children rights, the following year.
“Giving back has always been important to me. This concert allows me to connect with my fans in person which is one of the best parts of my job and to raise money for important causes at the same time, I can’t think of anything I would enjoy doing more,” contactmusic.com quoted her a saying.
Gomez and her band The Scene will perform will take to the stage at the House of Blues in Los Angeles Jan 20 to raise funds.
