November 3, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): This Diwali can turn director Rohit Shetty’s life brighter as he is gearing up to release his laugh riot Golmaal 3 during the festive season. However, the competition is tough this time as it will face a strong competition from Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai starrer film Action Replayy, which is also releasing on the same day.

However, the producers Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision and the distributors Eros International seem to be not at all bothered about this competition. The first Golmaal movie was a great success at the box office and the same was followed by Golmaal Returns, which was released amid tough competition from Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion. So, they expect the success story will be repeated with the third movie too.

With a bunch of talented actors like Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Shreyash Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and Kunal Khemu, the makers are feeling very confident about the success of the movie. Ajay is doing all possible things to promote the movie as he returns as funny man in the series for the third time.

Devgn was quoted saying that he wants both the film to do well but he wishes his film to do a little better. He has taken the competition in its positive stride and said that two big releases during the festive season are good for the industry.

In Golmaal 3, Kareena will be seen in a totally different avatar than her ‘serial-lover’ character Ekta in Golmaal Rreturns. She will be seen riding bikes in her tomboyish role. The movie has two new characters in the form of veteran comedian Johny Lever and Kunal Khemu.

The promos of the movie suggest that it will be yet another laugh riot with loads of comic moments. Rohit is ready to serve it hot during Diwali but will he get third time lucky with same platter?
