New York, Aug 26 (THAINDIAN NEWS) ABC’s show ‘Show Me the Money’ started a trend of sorts when they revealed that almost 10% of American citizens have some sort of unclaimed money that they are clueless about. The show’s officials decided to track the unclaimed money deposits of 286 people who work on the show ‘Good Morning America’.

And the results were startling to say the least. They found that 12% of the GMA staffers or around 24 people had unclaimed money and that too, to the tune of around $44,000.

In the mission to track the unclaimed funds of the GMA staffers, the show’s officials took the aid of the New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli and his very capable team.

“We have a broad mission and an important task and a very dedicated group of employees, and the happiest ones are those who work in unclaimed funds because they get to give people money back. That always puts a smile on everyone’s face,” Thomas DiNapoli later said this on GMA.

The GMA staffers who got lucky were host Robin Roberts, makeup artist Elena George, weekend co-anchor Bianna Golodryga, GMA news anchor Hosh Elliott amongst others.
