Salt Lake City, July 24, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Conservative television and radio talk show host Glenn Beck recently shocked all his fans when he announced that he was suffering from a rare eye disorder that might leave him blind in future. While delivering his speech at the “American Revival” tour in Salt Lake City last weekend, the highly acclaimed talk show host revealed that he has been diagnosed with the condition macular dystrophy owing to which he finds it difficult to focus his eyes on anything.

While revealing details about his condition, the Fox television personality stated that due to the disorder he might loss his vision within the next year or might just end up having distorted eyesight. Despite the fact that Glenn Beck was extremely emotional as he made the announcement in front of a crowd of 6,000 people, the popular talk show presenter was not devoid of his amazing sense of humor when he jokingly added that although losing his vision might be a possibility for him, he was still ‘too darn lazy to learn Braille.’ The 46-year-old television host also went on to add that when the doctor told him for the first time that he was suffering from macular dystrophy, he confused the term with muscular dystrophy but soon realized that it was not the same thing.

However, its seems unlikely that the eye condition would be able to subdue the indomitable spirit of Glenn Beck who stated that he planned to deal with the ailment with a smile and dignity while jokingly adding that at least he would be able to get away with a blind joke from time to time if he indeed loses his vision.
