Glee to have a ‘Britney Spears’ special episode

New York City, July 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) All Britney Spears and Glee fans rejoice, as there is soon going to be a special episode based on the pop star. The creator of Glee – Ryan Murphy, confirmed this news.
According to a source, Ryan Murphy said that, “We are writing a Britney Spears episode.” This Spears episode is being planned for the next season, which would be telecast in the fall.
Glee is a show based on a high school choir, which sings their own version of songs, and it is one of the most popular TV programs. The Emmy nominations were announced last week and Glee managed to lap up 19 nominations.
In the past, Glee had two very popular episodes on Madonna and Lady Gaga and both of them were runaway hits. It sure raises a lot of hopes for the upcoming Britney special episode. However it is not clear if Britney Spears would appear on the show or not.
It may be recalled that Britney Spears’ manager Adam Leber had been trying to gather support for a Glee episode based on Britney’s songs. He had tweeted on the popular social networking and microblogging site Twitter that, “Do you guys want to see a Britney spears episode of Glee?” His wish has finally been fulfilled and the episode is in the making.
