glee2Jan 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Sunday night was a big night for stars of both the big screen as well as the small screen. The Golden Globe Awards saw a whole lot of stars gleaming with joy as they received their awards for their respective categories. The stars of the big screen did have a great time. However, the fun was no less for the stars of the small screen. Even they had enough reasons for celebration, especially the cast of “Glee” which made a hattrick by sweeping away three prizes in three different categories.

The show was the huge winner in the TV categories at the ceremony that took place on Sunday night. The television show picked up three of the top prizes which included the award for the best TV show, musical or comedy. Actor Chris Colfer, was named the best actor in a supporting role. His co-star Jane Lynch won the award for the best actress in a supporting role for her superb portrayal of a sadistic school coach, Sue Sylvester on screen.

Even after being bullied by elders and others, they can still aspire in becoming what they wish to be or remain the same person as they are. Jane Lynch said, “My cup runneth over,” adding that she is nothing, if not falsely humble. She said in in a joking tone. First-time Nominee Chris Colfer was “stunned” with the win. he dedicated his award to the creator of “Glee” Ryan Murphy who he referred to as “his fairy godfather” and said that the bullied teen were just like the character he plays on screen.
