glee1Apr 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) On Apr 13, remote was forgotten as FOX channel pitted one popular show after the other. After its most popular “American Idol” show, it was “Glee” that made its return to television on Tuesday. “Glee” which has successfully completed its first volume of episodes returned from a four month hiatus to broadcast the remaining nine episodes of its first season with promises to make people laugh hard this time as well as it did before.

The television series which has won the Golden Globe Award 2010 for being the Best Television Series returned with the same set of characters. The musical comedy lived up to the expectation of the audience. The episode was titled “Hell-o” and showed the characters back with their quirky and silly thoughts and ideas. Back to the William McKinley High School in Ohio the characters are seen pondering on their life and events and though none of the characters are provided with enough screen time, the episode was able to give the idea of the happenings of the club. After the initial drama came the Glee Club performances. Finn came up with “Hello, I Love You” and was followed by the “Gives You Hell” performance by the poor girl who is dumped by Finn. Musical performances by the characters followed sprinkled with drama which made the show worth a watch.

However the show stealer was the performance by Sue Sylvester who performed “Vogue”. It was a copy of the original Madonna’s “Vogue” to the fullest and was able to make people remain glued to their television set. At the end of the episode, “Glee” gave a glimpse of the next Madonna episode.
