The cast of Glee have overhauled The Beatles record on the Billboard Hot 100 playlist. With six debut entrée on the US chart the cast of Glee has overtaken The Beatles.

Glee has 75 songs from the show which have now popularly running on US charts. Glee has beaten The Beatles as it has only 71 popular tracks to be played on US charts. Earlier singers like Elvis Presley had 108 and James Brown had 91 tracks to be entered the US chart. However, the cast of Glee is yet to hit the top title.

The cast of Glee believes that mission to take-over the title is not impossible. Songs from the show has managed to enter the US chart, however a source said that the songs don’t have mass appeal and fail to hold the position for a long duration.

It might be difficult for the cast of Glee to surpass the efforts of Liverpool legends. Out of 100 only 14 of Glee songs have managed secure their position in US Top chart for a week whereas The Beatles have more songs.
